The short answer

Family owned, independent, one location, everything from cleanings to crowns to wisdom teeth in the same building, with orthodontics through our sister practice. If you live anywhere along the 423 corridor, from Waterstone down through The Colony and up toward Little Elm, that is a short drive.
The FM 423 corridor has become one of the densest residential stretches in North Texas, and dental offices followed the rooftops. There are a number of them along this road now and their websites are close to interchangeable.

Ownership: family owned and independent. My wife and I own it. Not a dental service organization, and no outside group setting production targets. That distinction matters more than most patients realize, and we explained why in the piece on practice ownership.
Who you will actually see
Most patients and their kids see Dr. Christina Pham, DMD, our general and family dentist, for routine and restorative care. She is the one you will get to know.
Oral surgery is handled by Dr. David Roberts, DDS, on site, with more than thirty five years of surgical experience. Having a surgeon in the building means wisdom teeth and difficult extractions do not require a referral across town.
Kenneth Bui, RDH and Victoria Wilson, RDH handle hygiene.
My wife Dr. Julia Kang and I own the practice, and we are orthodontists, which is why the orthodontic side runs through Elate.
That is the whole roster. It does not rotate, which is the thing that actually makes continuity of care possible.

How the money side works
Written estimates before treatment, with the procedure codes and your portion. Every time, by default. If you have ever been surprised by a dental bill you know why this is the first thing we mention.
We work with most major PPO plans. Call with your card and we will verify your specific plan rather than the general category, since the difference between, for example, Delta PPO and Delta Premier changes what you pay.
No dental insurance? We run an in house savings plan: flat annual fee, cleanings and exams included, everything else discounted. For families paying cash it usually beats buying an individual policy.
And if cost is genuinely the barrier, that is a conversation rather than a dead end. Here are the actual options, including the ones that have nothing to do with us.
You should know what something costs before you are lying in the chair. That is not a premium service, it is the minimum.
Getting here from along 423
From Waterstone and the 75036 neighbourhoods, a few minutes. From The Colony, ten to fifteen going north. From Little Elm, similar going south. From central Frisco, across on Lebanon.
The practical advice for this road is about timing rather than distance. First thing at eight, or mid morning between ten and eleven thirty, avoids the worst of it.
