A family dental office on Lebanon and 423
My wife, Dr. Julia Kang, and I are orthodontists. We built Elate Orthodontics first. In 2024 we opened Tribute Family Dentistry in the same building on FM 423, right at Lebanon Road.
The reason was pretty simple. A family should be able to get a cleaning, a set of braces and a wisdom tooth consult without being referred across town three times.
Here's the part people don't always expect. Julia and I don't do your cleanings. The Tribute team does. Dr. Christina Pham is the dentist most of our patients and their kids see, for everything from a first visit to a crown, and our hygienists handle the cleanings. Wisdom teeth and surgical extractions go to Dr. David Roberts, who has been doing oral surgery for more than 35 years. Julia and I handle the orthodontics.
We also ran a report on where our new patients came from in 2025. Most of them live in The Tribute, Phillips Creek Ranch and Lone Star Ranch. That wasn't surprising. But it's worth saying, because in my experience how close you live to the office is the biggest factor in whether a family actually keeps its six-month visits.
We're independent and family owned. No corporate owner, no production quotas. The doctors and hygienists on this page are the people you'll see.

Toothache, a broken tooth, or a tooth knocked out
We keep time open every weekday for emergencies, for new patients and existing ones, kids included. What helps most is calling before you drive over, so we can have a room and the right doctor ready.
- Call (469) 598-1021. Monday to Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- Knocked-out adult tooth: pick it up by the top, not the root, don't scrub it, and bring it in milk.
- Swelling that makes it hard to breathe or swallow is an ER trip first, not a dental visit.

Are you accepting new patients?
Yes, from toddlers to seniors. You can fill out the new patient forms online before you come in, which gets you into the chair faster.
Do you take my insurance?
We're in-network with most major PPO plans. If you don't have insurance, the Smile Savings Plan is $360 a year per person and covers your cleanings, exams and one emergency exam.
Can I be seen today for a toothache?
Usually, yes. We hold same-day emergency time Monday to Friday. Call first so we can plan for you. We're closed on weekends.

When should my child first see a dentist?
By their first birthday, or within six months of the first tooth. Those early visits are short and mostly about getting comfortable in the chair.
Can the whole family come in on the same day?
Yes, and a lot of families do. Tell the front desk how many people are coming and we'll line up the appointments back to back.
Do I have to go somewhere else for wisdom teeth or braces?
No. Dr. Roberts removes wisdom teeth here, with IV sedation available, and orthodontics is in the same building with Dr. Baharvand and Dr. Kang.
