We hold time during the week for exactly this. Call before you drive over so we know what is coming and can have the right time set aside.
What counts as a dental emergency?
A knocked out permanent tooth, spreading facial swelling, uncontrolled bleeding, and facial trauma need attention immediately. Most toothaches, lost fillings, and chips are urgent but not emergencies, and we go through the difference in our guide to what can wait until Monday.
Should I go to an emergency room instead?
For a toothache, usually not. Emergency rooms rarely have a dentist and cannot treat the tooth itself. For swelling with trouble breathing or swallowing, facial trauma, or uncontrolled bleeding, go to a hospital immediately.
