With consistent maintenance using your trays, professional whitening results can last 1 to 3 years. Factors like coffee, tea, wine, and tobacco consumption affect how quickly your shade returns. Periodic touch-up sessions keep results fresh.

Some patients experience temporary sensitivity during whitening, particularly with higher-concentration gels. Our professional formulas are designed to minimize this. We can also recommend desensitizing gel to use alongside your whitening routine if needed.

Whitening gel only affects natural tooth enamel — it will not change the color of crowns, veneers, or bonding. If you have visible restorations on front teeth, we’ll discuss how to approach whitening so the results look even and natural.

Teeth whitening is a cosmetic service and is generally not covered by dental insurance. Our Smile Savings Plan provides 20% off whitening and most other treatments. Financing is also available through CareCredit and Cherry.
